Are you curious about UCSF Connect, UCSF’s official networking platform? With over 3,000 users, UCSF Connect is an excellent tool to help you build your career!

This workshop will provide an overview of UCSF Connect and discuss strategies on how to use it to expand your network, advance your career, and stay connected with the rest of the UCSF community. Whether you are new to UCSF Connect, or have an account and not sure how to use it, this workshop is for you!

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Define the purpose of networking and articulate your goals

  • Recognize various methods to find and approach professionals in your field using UCSF Connect

  • Describe strategies to use social media professionally while networking

Note:

A light lunch will be provided; please register in advance.

It is recommended that you create a UCSF Connect account prior to the program. Use your email, Facebook or LinkedIn logins.

During the program, we will be using UCSF Connect, so please bring a laptop/mobile device to the presentation.
